I've been going through some old negatives over the past few days. It's interesting to see how my style has changed somewhat through the years. Images below from the Albany, NY Tulip Fest 2003 (and various other events), photographed with a Leica M6 and Ilford XP-2 film. I have to admit, black and white film is far better than converting a color digital image to black and white. These images are hardly masterpieces, but I still find looking at old photos fascinating nonetheless. The negatives were scanned using a Nikon 5000ED Coolscan using digital ICE. Unfortunately, you can't buy these scanners anymore, Nikon stopped producing them years ago.
